Ok here are some questions that came up as I and my fellow Meth's played
last night.
1) Does the vampire that's rescued from torpor and comes out untapped get
the chance to hunt or it has to wait until the next turn? (The answer
given in the Jyhad FAQ in Duelist #3 no. 13 says vamp is "active again,
but if it has no blood, it must hunt the next turn.)
2) Does a vampire getting blood from hunting grounds constitute hunting and
therefore can be played cards like XTC laced blood?
3) Can Eagle sight block Day Operation and can it block an action
regardless of stealth?
4) Does Charnas the Imp burn the vampire it's on if the vampire is in
torpor with no blood on it and it untaps? (Since Impy does 1 damage to
the vamp. it on when the vamp. untaps.)
5) Does vast wealth stay on a minion? The card says put on a ready
minion. If so, the minion can search for a weapon any time it's ready?
6) What's the official ruling on Rotshreck? Is it played by the minion
dealing or receiving aggravated damage?
My thanks to all who take the time to answer these questions.

DTR: Anytime a vampire is ready, untapped, and without blood, it must hunt
as its Methuselah's next minion action.
>2) Does a vampire getting blood from hunting grounds constitute hunting and
>therefore can be played cards like XTC laced blood?
Nope. It's a master card effect, not a hunting action per se.
>3) Can Eagle sight block Day Operation and can it block an action
>regardless of stealth?
While it cannot block an action regardless of stealth (it merely gives the
opportunity to block an action you ordinarily could not, for example a
Computer Hacking not targeted at you -- you'd still have to raise intercept
if it was at stealth), I'm unsure as to its interaction with Day Operation.
Offhand, I'd say it couldn't, but I don't have any solid evidence to point to,
just a gut feeling.
>4) Does Charnas the Imp burn the vampire it's on if the vampire is in

>the vamp. it on when the vamp. untaps.)
Nope. Regular damage alone cannot burn a vampire, and a vampire with no
blood requires 2 aggravated to be burned, in torpor or out of it (although
opportunites to inflict damage on a vampire in torpor are fairly rare,
Charnas being one). The vampire is just redundantly sent to torpor.
>5) Does vast wealth stay on a minion? The card says put on a ready

Yup. It says 'place on a minion,' and gives no conditions for being burned,
so short of its being Reversed on its way down, it will stay around, and give
the recipient minion the permanent ability to take an action to search for
a weapon.
>6) What's the official ruling on Rotshreck? Is it played by the minion

Latest DTR (which I fervently hope will be upheld, as it's the only way
to interpret it and still have the card be of any use) says it hoses the
vampire dealing the damage.

If the vampire comes out untapped, it can take an action. And if it has
no blood, it MUST hunt...immediately.
: 2) Does a vampire getting blood from hunting grounds constitute hunting

No, it isn't hunting. hunting is an action.
: 3) Can Eagle sight block Day Operation and can it block an action

Yes and no. DTR: "Eagle Sight does allow you to blood a Day Operation..."
"You must still have intercept equal to the stealth value."
: 4) Does Charnas the Imp burn the vampire it's on if the vampire is in: torpor with no blood on it and it untaps? (Since Impy does 1 damage to

Charnas does not do damage; he just removes blood. A vampire can never be
sent to torpor OR burnt from "blood removal".
: 5) Does vast wealth stay on a minion? The card says put on a ready: minion. If so, the minion can search for a weapon any time it's ready?
I'm pretty sure it's burnt, which is why we think it's such a USELESS card.
: 6) What's the official ruling on Rotshreck? Is it played by the minion: dealing or receiving aggravated damage?
The minion DEALING the damage. This *IS* the official WotC ruling. (And
it makes sense, in its own way)

Latest ruling from tom is (effectively):
Eagle's sight only removes the restriction on who may attempt to block.
This allows you to attempt to block a directed action if you aren't the
target, and to attempt to block a non-directed action if you aren't sitting
next to the acting minion's controller. That's all.
You still need intercept at least equal to the stealth of the action.
You still can't successfully block a Day Operation.
You still can't block an older vampire with Navar.
You still lose a pool when blocking an Archon or Aching Beauty.
Nothing changes except that you can attempt to block.

>: minion. If so, the minion can search for a weapon any time it's ready?>I'm pretty sure it's burnt, which is why we think it's such a USELESS card.
It doesn't provide a mechanism for burning itself, so it is never burnt.
Most cards that you play on a vampire stick around forever. (Archon can
be voted off, gained titles can be yielded, Retainers can be killed, and
Equipment can be transferred, stolen, or destroyed.)

Wasn't there jsut a ruling that Day Ops was unblockable, even with Eagle Sight

Actually, I think this one was changed as well. The vampire about to recieve
agg. damage is the target for Rotshreck.

No, I seem to recall that it says something like 'from now on this
minion may eqiup with any card by blah blah then reshuffle afterwards
at +1 stealth....I think it was meant to be a permanent ability, after all,
if one is vastly wealthy, why would a measly .44 consume your huge hoard?
