[LSJ] First Strike

I'm wondering how a combat where one of the vampires have first strike is played. I have a vampire in combat with another vampire, and my vampire has first strike. We are at long range and I play a Taste of Blood. If he plays a combat ends, what happens? If he plays a dodge, what happens? If he plays a strike, what happens?
