One note: the bit about: "the rules state that it prevents all damage
dealt" is not strictly true. Both printed rulebooks (Jyhad and VTES) say
that "it ends combat ... before any damage is dealt". (The distinction
isn't importantant here, but noted for completeness.) The revised
rulebook is no clearer on this point, either. But all of these are
refering to the damage that would have otherwise been done in the strike
resolution phase in question. Damage done before that time (by Weather
Control, for example) is still done, clearly. And, less clearly, damage
set to occur at the end of the round will still occur when the round
ends, even if the round is ended prematurely by S:CE.

Correct. DotB's damage is done at the end of the round, not "after"
(errata/correction to printed card text). [RTR 09-NOV-94]
