I noticed, while reading through the rulings, under "Immortal Grapple" *The "only hand strikes" effect lasts for the entire combat. [TOM 951217] This has some rather odd consequences. If the inferior version is played, I can maneuver to long range after the first round. Even with the superior version, you can maneuver to long range after the second round. So even at long range, I still cannot use weapons or ranged strikes, apparently because my opponents arms are still somehow wrapped real tight around me. Now thats some kinda immortal grapple. I didn't know that the Potence discipline gave you powers like Plastic Man. Lupus Australis ____ ____ \ \----/ / |()__()| __\ __ /__ / __\()/__ \ |/ \==/ \| | || |

Yep. Someone pointed this out to TOM when he made the ruling - which actually just matches the VTES card text - so I suppose it's just a clarification now, and not a ruling. If you're interested, take a look at the thread at http://search.dejanews.com/dnquery.xp?search=thread&recnum=%3c486u2q$n...@darkstar.UCSC.EDU%3e&svcclass=dnserver Note that the date should be 951211, not 951217. I'll fix that. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. (*) - Subject to review by Rules Team
