A question concerning Charming Lobby and how it is actually played came into question after the EC. From what I have gathered on the subject the following is how the action works. 1- Minion plays Charming Lobby and announces the intended political action (from a card currently on hand or to remove some card currently in play) 2- Replace card 3- Determination as to whether the action is blocked is conducted for both Predator and Prey. 4- If the action is not blocked then the acting player lays down the political card (if any, based upon what vote was called) 5- Card is not replaced as the Referendum started after the block determination was completed 6- Conduct vote and playing any additional action modifiers (for acting) or reactions (for opposing players) with no card replacement 7- Vote resolution is determined 8- Replace cards 9- Next vote called by anyone and that reaches Referendum Phase automatically passes, provided the prior vote passed. If the above is correct, what happens to combos with Charming Lobby and Ancient Influence? If the Charming Lobby is blocked, is the AI now null and void for the rest of the game? Or as it was never actually played, still available for play later? Michael Eichler Prince of Ramstein -- Worry comes from the belief you are powerless. (So get in there and kick some butt!) The card is replaced as normal. The is played before the referendum is called. > 6- Conduct vote and playing any additional action modifiers (for > acting) or reactions (for opposing players) with no card replacement Correct. > 7- Vote resolution is determined > > 8- Replace cards Correct. > 9- Next vote called by anyone and that reaches Referendum Phase > automatically passes, provided the prior vote passed.
