First: Darius Styx can take a directed action to pick one card from an opponent's hand, and if it is an equipmentor retainer card, it is placed on Darius. Does this mean the Meth. controlling Darius gets to look at the card, or just select one and be told whether or not it is? Second: Can extra political cards be burned for additional votes during a bloodhunt vote (ie: vote pushing??)?? -- mal...@macatawa.org Peter Lowe +=+=+ Edmonton, AB VtES web page available soon!

(And Ventrue HQ may be tapped for 3 votes, besides, since it doesn't restrict itself to "political action"). -- L. While it does not say, most card games include the "anti-cheating" rule that you have to show that card to everyone. The reason for this is so that, when you actually get an Equipment card, the other player doesn't say "Nope." I would assume that the other must show the card at least to the Methuselah controlling Darius. > > Second: Can extra political cards be burned for additional votes during > a bloodhunt vote (ie: vote pushing??)?? Yes, you may vote push, but you cannot play Reaction or Action Modifiers as the Blood Hunt is not an Action. > > -- > mal...@macatawa.org > Peter Lowe +=+=+ Edmonton, AB > VtES web page available soon! -- +-------------------------------------------------------+ | Assamite | | (assa...@inlink.com) | +-------------------------------------------------------+ | http://www.angelfire.com/pages0/assamite/index.html | +-------------------------------------------------------+ | If there were a Cell Z, I'd be a member of it... | +-------------------------------------------------------+

I was always under the impression that Bloodhunts were _not_ political actions. Your statement about Ventrue HQ also seems to suggest that Bloodhunts are not political actions. So at the risk of asking a redundant question, do Bloodhunts actually count as political actions?

I do not remember the ruling so I'll let Scott reply to if the cards can be used (I think they can't) It is not a political action however as no minion took an action, indeed the Meth calling the vote can be anyone at the table. The Blood Hunt vote is not an action, so action modifiers and reactions may not be used during that vote. However, all other appropriate effects may be used, including using titles or effects such as Ventrue Headquarters, and burning political action cards for votes.
