Conquer the Beast Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Animalism Only usable before beginning of combat. You get one press each round, only usable to continue combat. You are obliged to use this press and cannot use equipment. This continues until 3 rounds pass with no cards played. (S) As above, but the presses are optional. Does the 'no cards played' wording above mean that no cards can be played while this card is in play, or does it mean that if you play cards this card is void? It's like Trap, except that the vampire is given the press, rather than it being environmental. You get a press and are obliged to use it every round until three rounds pass without cards being played. You are perfectly at liberty to play cards as much as you want, but until three rounds pass with no cards played, you will be granted (and forced to use) a press. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "Steve: Yeah, well that's one of the advantages of being a sad, lonely fairy, I guess. If you play a card Strike: combat ends during the effect of Conquer the beast (or Trap) does it stop combat or does it simply count as a card payed and resets the number of rounds to be played? [ quoted text not captured ]

Combat Ends stops combat long before the press phase, so CtB or Trap (which only provide presses, nothing else) never get the chance to do their thing. To restate: You can Majesty out of Trap normally. gomi -- i haul the burden for the high and mighty but i'm the top hat devil's son i've got the luck of the drunk, try an' nail me i'm the bullseye - aim your gun
