Now, I was sitting looking at this deck, and minion A is holding TC.
Minion B has an SP. My turn comes. I look at my minions and say, B
sucks up 3 damage (unpreventable) from the TC. Minion B, takes the damage
thoughtfully, and replies yeah, but since it isn't agro, it just doesn't
have any effect.
Any problems with this strategy?
No attempt is made to prevent the damage, so which has precedence:
Unpreventable or Immunity? or should SP have been worded "Prevent
all damage which isn't agro"

Yeah, there's a big problem. Spiritual Protector is a retainer that is
immue to all but aggravated damage. The advantage of SP is that when the
minion w/SP blocks, the vamp it is blocking cannot use equipment in that
combat. Therefore it is a great card to block that person with a
Flamethrower or Ivory bow or Sengir Dagger or whatnot.
This means that when you block with that minion, the only way to get rid
of it is to go to long range and Theft of Vitae, Walk of Flame, Burst of
Sunlight, or something similar (there is a new Chimerstry card that does
longrange Aggravated damage too)
The downside is that the SP only works if the minion is blocking. So if
it is attacked directly (via Garou, or Bum's Rush, Haven Uncovered, etc.)
or blocked while taking an action, the SP will not work.
I hope this helps.

The Retainer is immune to regular damage. The minion employing the
Retainer is not granted this immunity.
The employer still takes three damage (unpreventable).
