Card Text: "Political Card-Worth 1 Vote.Prince or Justicar calls at +1 stealth.Successful vote means each Methuselah must skip a turn or burn 2 pool. Burn this card when you have either skipped 3 turns or paid 6 pool in cumulative penalties." Question: Is 1st Tradition burned when: - The "you" in the card text refers to ME, so that, for example, 1st Trad. is burned when I have skipped 3 turns (so that the card lasts 3 turns at least)? - The "you" in the card text refers to all methusalahs, so that, for example in a 4 player game, I play the card, the 3 other Methusalahs pay the price and the card is burned? Effectively the card lasts 1 turn for all methusalahs as a whole, but 3 turns for different methusalahs. In our most recent game, I played the card in the spirit of the former interpretation, but was voted down by the other players, who preferred the latter one. -- Michael Beer, Dortmund, Germany, ICQ 1175389 -------------------------------------------- Life is founded on Chaos. This is correct. "You" always refers to the controller of the card. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@regency.wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. This is the correct interpretation. 1st tradition is a great game staller, and a good card to use if you play a vote/pool gain deck. -Dave Green
