TOM: Q: DS: Riposte and Dawn Op

Tom, Does the one point of damage done by Riposte become Aggravated during a Dawn Operation? My immediate thought was 'yes' because Riposte is a combat card, but then I noticed that the damage seemed to be done after combat was over (since it may not be prevented), and therefore outside the scope of Dawn Op.
