Tragic Question

My opponent went and played a Tragic Love Affair on Masika. Tragic Love Affair says "Does not untap as normal during the untap phase" My question is can Masika untap between turns - his card says he can. -tony, Prince of Iowa City

That's why it says "as normal" and "during untap" - so that these questions won't come up.

Yes, Masika could untap between Meths. turns. Just remember to untap him before it's your turn, because if he is tapped going into your turn, he would not untap as normal. stephen

Yes, playing TLA on Masika does not do anything as he untaps between your predator's turn and yours.
