Frederick the Weak has 1 blood. Opposing minion has played Darkness Within before range, and has chosen "hands for one" as his strike. Will Frederick's blood be moved to the Darkness Within before the damage from the opposing minion's hand strike is resolved, effectively resulting in (barring effects like prevention) Frederick going into torpor? Or can Frederick choose to resolve the damage first, using his blood to heal it, and then sequencing the Darkness Within effect to occur after that (which will then simply move away 0 blood from him)? -- Bye, Daneel

[ quoted text not captured ] Healing and preventing destruction happen after strikes resolve. DW takes the opposing minion's blood before he can use it to heal himself.

[ quoted text not captured ] You must play CotD before strike resolution, so blood is spent to pay for that card before DW steals blood.
