Oh-and you have a maximum hand size of seven cards, a deck of
60 cards, and you _are_ using the forced withdrawal rules
from Sabbat. Try not to kill yourself doing this.

How much damage can one vampire do in one round?
Any vampire-any combination of disciplines-in any round you choose.
For example: 1st round Lazverinus(Legendary Vampire, Clan

The amount is unlimited - dependent (e.g.) on the number of counters
you can get on a Crimson Sentinel, which is infinite.
Or, it is dependent on the number of Wolf Companions you can
collect, which is a function of the number of players in the
game (assuming everyone has a library filled with Wolves and
you have a Shepherd's Innocence. :-)
etc.

Infinite. You can play multiple increased strength, multiple fists of death,
and of course, there's Crimson Sentinel.

Okay, how about when one does not have any "permanent" cards on the
vampire in play; eg. no masters, no equipment, no retainers, etc. The
only cards allowed in the scenario are combat cards of one type or
another. Same deck size limitations.
Compute; anyone who can explain to me why death of my conscience
doesn't help you get more damage gets extra credit.

Not fun to do. The idea is to play increased strengths (a lot of them),
then empty your vampire playing Blur and Lightning Reflexes. Assuming an
Inner Circle vampire, you'll get 11 additional strikes for a total of 12.
Now all 12 of your strikes are Undead Strengths, except one dodge.
I can strike 11 times, each time for 3+2*n, where n is the number of
Increased Strengths I played. I need one card for dodge, one blur, one
lightning reflexes, 11 US. That leaves me with 39 Increased Strengths
if I must keep 7 cards, 46 if not.
So I think I can do 11*95= 1045 damage in one round.
(11*81= 891 if I keep 7 cards in hand)
Considering how one more strike would do a lot more damage, maybe add
something else to avoid having to dodge on the first strike...
I'm not saying this is a max, I'm just saying it's a bit silly to compute.
I mean, who's going to soak in all this ? (even using a "max capacity" vampire,
which I wanted to do here until you prohibited master cards: Masika can go up
to at least 39 capacity and play one BIG Lightning Reflexes...)

DoMC doesn't give you +HD in and of itself, and every ditched card only
gives you +2 HD. So if all of those cards (incl. the DoMC) were Fists
of Death or Increased Strengths, you get +2 more hand damage. Other
than that, I think Peter's total:
59 Increased Strength + Pushing the Limit + Lazverinus =
59 * 2 + 4 + 2 = 124,
is correct.

I'll play superior Skin of Steel, thank you very much.
Ah yes, but what's the max HD one vamp can do in one strike in the first
round of combat, without stacking? I figured this out once, here we go:
Base stuff:
Lazverinus, Thrall of Lambach, base hand damage 3
Cardinal Benediction +0
Gangrel Impersonation, Ritual Challenge +1
Toreador Anti-Tribu Impersonation, Art of Pain +2
Ventrue Impersonation, play Island of Yiaros +0
Depravity +1
Before Range is Determined:
Opponent plays Drawing out the Beast +1
Torn Signpost +2 (sets base to 3)
Fists of Death +2
Increased Strength +2
Shadow of the Wolf +0
Fire in the Blood +1
After Range is Determined:
The Death of my Conscience, burn 4 cards +8
Strikes:
Strike with hands. Assume the opposition dodges or prevents.
Then, (here's the biggie)
Shadow of the Wolf, second strike +1
Pushing the Limit +3
Tap the Island of Yiaros +3
Net Hand Damage: 30
Or we could just go with 29 on that first strike. *shrug*

Make him a Legendary Vampire when he comes out, and
the Island of Yiaros will be good for +5.
