You know, I run across this far more often than one would think. Apparently,
many people seem to think that the line of text on Elder Kindred Network that
says:
"...if the vote passes, there is no effect."
means that if the vote passes *the vote* has no effect, rather than *the Elder
Kindred Network* has no effect (which is clearly the intent of the card). More
than once in a tournament I have called some vote and had someone across the
table play EKN, thinking that it would nullify the vote if the vote passed. Has
this card been officially clarrified anywhere (or is the VTES wording clearer,
as I haven't actually seen a VTES version)?
