We're planning on some tournaments with no finals and I wanted to check things out a little: "The play to win"-concept Don't know if this is a written rule or whatever, but what exactly does it mean? Play to win the tournament or the current game? Example: 2-round tourny, 5 players. Player A sweeps the first table. Can player B offer player A a 4-1 deal in game two (B has at least a reasonable chance of getting 5VP). If the deal is made (and everything goes as planned) B wins the table but have no chace of winning the tournament. /henrik isaksson

Accepting with the intention of honoring can be done if it is an example of playing to win (doesn't limit the player's ability to get the GW and, if the player cannot reasonably get the game win anyhow, doesn't limit his or her VP accumulation). > If the deal is made (and everything goes as planned) B wins the table but > have no chace of winning the tournament. ? He doesn't have to make the deal. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
