couple of rules questions

I got two questions, which probably have been answered before but I cannot find a ruling on the net. 1) Black cat uses concealed weapon to equip magnum, is the cost 1 or 2 pool? (I noticed the text on black cat says 'equip actions cost 1 less', but concealed isn't really a action is it? 2) Meshenka with Meat Hook plays body arsenal (or chiropteran Marauder) and strikes with the hook. Is all the damage dealt with the weapon aggravated? How about other +strength weapons? / Nick

See the official card text on-line: "Equipping Black Cat costs 1 less pool (but never less than 0 pool)." No action requirement. >2) Meshenka with Meat Hook plays body arsenal (or chiropteran Marauder) and >strikes with the hook. Is all the damage dealt with the weapon aggravated? >How about other +strength weapons? No. Melee weapons deal melee weapon damage. Body Arsenal affects hand damage. Hand damage must come from hand strikes. A hand strike must be at close range, strength based and not from a weapon. Therefore, Meat Hook is not a hand strike, so it does not deal hand damage, so Body Arsenal doesn't affect it. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Lucky that my breasts are small and humble, EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 So you don't confuse them with mountains. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D

It costs 1 pool. Concealed says the cost is paid "as normal". > 2) Meshenka with Meat Hook plays body arsenal (or chiropteran Marauder) and > strikes with the hook. Is all the damage dealt with the weapon aggravated? No. Only hand damage is made aggravated. Melee weapon damage is not affected. > How about other +strength weapons? (I noticed the text on black cat says 'equip actions || cost 1 less', but concealed isn't really a action is it? costs one less since, following LSJ's logic, the concealed weapon card mention the word EQUIP. || 2) Meshenka with Meat Hook plays body arsenal (or chiropteran || Marauder) and strikes with the hook. Is all the damage dealt with || the weapon aggravated? How about other +strength weapons? No. when you play a card that states "aggravated hand damage" and you strike with a weapon, you are obviously not striking with your hand. So the damage is not aggravated. Only a hand ful cards allows you to strike with a weapon and do agg. damage anyway.

Ok, another question regarding body arsenal. Can you play BA at superior _after_ chosing strikes and still get the +1 effect or doesn't it kick in until next round? (compare with claws of the dead that can be played after strikes are chosen and still get the effect right?) / Nick "LSJ" <vte...@white-wolf.com> skrev i meddelandet news:3EE1FB3C...@white-wolf.com...
