Question for ya'. A guy running a local tournament allowed players to equip and recruit allies or retainers face down. Obviously we couldn't find anything specifically saying they had to be shown in the rules so we had to play that way. Can you spew forth some official verbage to clear this up? It's silly not to see someone equip themselves with an Ivory Bow...allows you the chance to block it. After all the Meth is paying pool to influence that weapon to that vampire/minion. Same thing goes with recruiting allies and retainers. Any minion should be able to block it if they can(see it happening). However, it does sound like an interesting variant that only adds to the mystery to me. dustin
