I was wondering what would happen if you Pounced w/ First Strike, I looked it up on Google and got: > The text is worded such that you can't exclude your opponent's strike > even if somehow you get first strike, can you? You can, as worded. Pounce at first strike will preclude the opponent's "mundane" strike. So, I'm gathering that in the choose strike phase ( after I've played Shadow Feint ) we both choose a strike. I choose Pounce, my opponent chooses Pushing the Limits. My strike resolves first, preventing the opposing minion from striking, who has already paid the cost of PtL? Hmmm, that Concordant Baali deck is looking more tasty every time. Sargon & Mary both have cel/obf. Mary, Giotto & Huitzilopochtli all have Potence in some form ( nice for the occasional IG ) and they all have at least Obf. Toss in a few skill cards and you can have a bunch of Baali that can jump on ppl for at least 4 points of damage and they probably won't get to strike back.
