What is the official print run size of Jyhad?

Peace Syzygyd, [love that name, BTW]
The last number I heard was one hundred eighty million cards.

The number bandied about by WotC is 180 million.
Actually, I have a better question, Tom. What is the print run
size of Vampire: the Eternal Struggle?

That was my going to be my next question =)...
Plus I wanted to PRESS the point about how could they print 180 MILLION cards
(I knew the number but wanted Tom to answer in an official capacity) and
decide later that that the whole line should be corrected? There are some very
questionable business decisions going on at WotC. The decision should have
been before they even printed the first run (Jyhad). What came over them after
printing 180 million to state they needed a name change. What are the REAL
reasons for this change... we can't hold Tom responsible for all of the
decision making at WotC. Is the excuses they give an apparent cover-up of a
deeper problem?....

Tom doesn't like it when people ask questions intending to entrap
him at some point later on. Just present your line of argument without
blindsiding him, and he'll be more likely to answer questions in the
future. If your point has merit (which I believe yours does), then that
merit will not be diminished by presenting it all at once.

That is correct.

That has not yet been determined.

Simple. We, like everyone else, make mistakes. The choice of Jyhad for the
game's name was agreed upon by WotC and White Wolf, and seemed like a
reasonable choice at the time. It wasn't until later that it was decided
that the name change was unfortunate on several levels.

That's true,... auto-maker recalls, defective product recalls, etc...
Is there a market-research team/division at WotC or WW?... The marketing crew
should have picked this up IF this was going to have been a problem. I
understand the arguement for the change: It may reach a larger audience and
bring in more sales and revenue ( WotC and WW are businesses, I have no
arguements with this line of thinking ). The possibility that the name of a
product determines it's public popularity has been proven in some markets. The
marketing teams should have researched, or made it clear as to the problems
possibly inherent with "Jyhad". The situation, at least to me, has become more
of an issue in marketing strategy.
I think the animosity from your customers at this point is due to the feeling
that WotC is making them pay for the WotC's own mistake.
