Last night in a game, I attempted to bleed with Basilia who employed a Wolf
Companion. She was blocked by a minion wearing a Flak Jacket. Basilia did
one point of aggravated hand damage, and the Wolf did one point of basic
damage. Which point is blocked by the Flak Jacket? We assumed it to be
the aggravated, but there must be some ruling about such things. Is it
that the minion's damage is resolved first before the retainer's, or can
the Meth. who's minion is wearing the Flak Jacket decide what damage, if any
is prevented by the jacket, or what?
Thanks in advance.

To the best of my knowledge of Tom's rulings, the holder of the Flak
Jacket gets to decide when (or if) they want to use the jacket's
protective abilities. Thus, they could choose to stop the aggravated or
the regular damage - whichever they felt would benefit them more.

The Minion with the Flak Jacket can block any one point of damage at any time
during the combat - his choice (Answer from Tom).

That is correct.
