By this logic, Darius's wording would allow him to take the action even when empty (since it says he can take this action). This is obviously not the case. By not explicitly overcoming the restriction (against taking a self-directed (D) action, or against taking any non-hunt action when empty), card text *fails* to overcome the restriction. -- L.
