Can I use Bonding(superior) when I am doing a political action for the +1 stealth even though I'm not doing a bleed action? If I simultaneously oust my prey and my prey's prey, do I get both victory points, or just one? Can I use the Heidelberg to move things around at very useful times such as before being bum's rushed? If so can you detail the most last-minute windows of opportunity when using it both actively and reactively? Thanks!

Well, since I'm not sure when LSJ will be back, I can answer your first two questions... > > Can I use Bonding(superior) when I am doing a political action for the +1 > stealth even though I'm not doing a bleed action? > No. This is listed somewhere in the Rules Team Rulings, but I don't feel like looking it up. Just take my word for it, superior Bonding can be used only on a bleed action. > If I simultaneously oust my prey and my prey's prey, do I get both victory > points, or just one? > If your prey and grand prey are ousted on the same action, your prey gets 1 VP and you get 1 VP. You also get 6 pool. Your prey does not get the 6 pool, because he or she is ousted. Note, this only applies if they are ousted at exactly the same time, such as using a KRC to allocate 2 pool loss to each one when they are at 2 pool each. I have a follow-up question to this... Say that your prey has 2 pool and your grand prey has 1 pool. You bleed your prey with Famous Guliano Vincenzi and use inferior Day Operation. Now, your prey's Sir Walter Nash Wakes and Deflects the bleed to his prey. Now... does your prey survive or not? The two lines of argument go something like this: 1) The bleed is successful, causing 1 pool loss to my grand prey and ousting him, giving my prey 6 pool. Then, Guliano goes to torpor and causes 3 pool loss to my prey, leaving him at 5 pool. OR: 2) The bleed is successful and Guliano goes to torpor, causing 1 pool loss to my grand prey and 3 pool loss to my prey. Since my prey would be ousted without the 6 pool, he does not gain it. Both are ousted, and me and my prey each get a VP. I get 6 pool. Which one is correct? Does the bleed resolve before Day Op/Fame? > Can I use the Heidelberg to move things around at very useful times such as > before being bum's rushed? If so can you detail the most last-minute windows > of opportunity when using it both actively and reactively? > I don't know the answer to this one. I've never used Heidelberg. -Chris -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet

No. You can only play bleed modifiers on bleed actions. > If I simultaneously oust my prey and my prey's prey, do I get both victory > points, or just one? No. You get one (and six pool) and your prey gets one (and no pool). Per the rulebook. > Can I use the Heidelberg to move things around at very useful times such as > before being bum's rushed? HC cannot be used to move stuff to or from a vampire in combat, however (errata). -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. Does the bleed resolve before Day Op/Fame? > You resolve the action, ie bleed, then your Day Op takes effect. (similar effect with Force of Will or Daring the Dawn and Fame). Imagine performing a bum's rush with a Day Op... You would never get into the fight if the Day Op was resolved first. So situation 1) would occur. Now if the prey had taken the bleed, you would have got 2 VP and 12 blood.
