If you *must* do something that you *cannot* do - then you do nothing. This applies to using weapons that you maneuvered with as well as hunting with zero blood when you're holding Talbot's Chainsaw. So, your opponet must use the .44 as his strike. The strike will fizzle, though, because when it comes time for strike resolution, he won't have it (Note that he still had the .44 when he declared his strike). ----- L. This is the same as if you used Shattering Blow (has to be close range) to destroy your opponent's weapon with First Strike. They just don't get a strike. Nil carborundum illigitimi, James R. Say in combat my opponent uses a manouver from a .44 magnum but I use canine horde to destroy the .44 magnum, can he use a different strike since they can't use the .44 magnum. In the rules it says that you MUST use the weapon if you used an manouver from it, but what if you don't have that weapon anymore? Can anyone clear this up, Thanks. -- "Lifes a HOOT!" In the rules it says >that you MUST use the weapon if you used an manouver from it, but >what if you don't have that weapon anymore? He must use the strike (since he maneuvered) and already had to declare it (you declare normal strikes before First Strikes resolve) so he's now striking with a non-existent gun. His strike has no effect. Curt Adams (curt...@aol.com)
