Hey, i've been playing jyhad for a while now and i still think that some things we are doing are wrong. I've searched everywhere but can't find answers to my questions so i need your help. 1. Do cards like effective management, ascension, minion tap stay out or get burned? if they stay out does it count as your master phase to do it after it's been played? And give some examples of master cards please. 2. Can a tapped vampire protect itself??? Im going crazy with this one, you know say he's tapped from a haven uncovered attack, then someone else attacks, is he hist? 3. If a blocker has more intercept then the bleeder has stealth is the action completely blocked without going to combat? 4. when calling a vote with a prince or justicar do they get their additional vote on top of the vote they get with the vote card? Thanks for listening guys..

And give some examples of master cards please. Nope, they get burned. One shot, that's it. There are exceptions though, like locations such as barrens, elder library, and hunting grounds that stay out. But in general, master are only good once. >2. Can a tapped vampire protect itself??? Im going crazy with this one, >you know say he's tapped from a haven uncovered attack, then someone else >attacks, is he hist? First of all, being attacked doesn't cause you to get tapped. The only thing that taps a vampire is performing an action, blocking another's action, or being targeted by a card that explicitly says it taps the vampire. And to answer your question, yes. Tapped vampires can (and should) defend themselves if the are attacked. >3. If a blocker has more intercept then the bleeder has stealth is the >action completely blocked without going to combat? If an action is blocked, combat insues. (Definition of blocking an action) >4. when calling a vote with a prince or justicar do they get their >additional vote on top of the vote they get with the vote card? Yep. Sure do. >Thanks for listening guys.. No prob, later. Scott. ______________________________________________________________________________

And give some examples of master cards please. No. They are one-shot cards. Locations stay. Other cardsmust say "put into play" or somesuch - otherwise they're only one-shot. >2. Can a tapped vampire protect itself??? Im going crazy with this one, >you know say he's tapped from a haven uncovered attack, then someone else >attacks, is he hist? 1) Tapped has nothing to do with combat. You can always fight back. 2) A minion is not tapped simply because he enters combat. You tap to act, and you tap to block. Nothing else taps a minion except as stated in card text. >3. If a blocker has more intercept then the bleeder has stealth is the >action completely blocked without going to combat? To block means to combat. The DT have separated this into a convoluted mechanism, but the result of blocking is still entering combat. >4. when calling a vote with a prince or justicar do they get their >additional vote on top of the vote they get with the vote card? Yes, but not exactly. They always get their votes (when not in torpor). The vote card provides *you*, the Methuselah, with a vote - not the Kindred calling the vote. -- ----- L.
