Yes, I'm thinking about working on a Ravnos deck :). It just never ends with me, does it? Question 1: Horrid Reality. Does this refer to weapons only as equipment? I would assume it does...since it says "weapon" through the greater part of the card text. However, the first line refers to the first peice of "equipment" found in the library. Is this a typo/errata issue, or, can the Ravnos be forced to equip with a laptop/sport bike/some other non-weapon equipment (and then have egg on their face in the ensuing combat as they can't fight for squat)? Question 2: Illusions of the Kindred. I'm a bit puzzled about what the card text refers to. It seems to me that it refers to being able to take an uncontrolled vamp from the bottom of the crypt, fill it with blood, have it waltz off to combat, and then it just goes away (burned/discarded) at the end of combat? Is this right? If so, where is the pulled vamp filled from...the blood bank, or, does the methuselah pay from pool? Question 3: Mass Reality. I think I know the answer to this one, just want to double-check for sure...If you use Mass Reality to stack damage with a weapon that does agg damage, how is the damage tallied? Would a "superior" version of Mass Reality combined with...say...a Flamethrower do 2 points of normal damage + 2 points of agg, or, 4 points of agg? I think it's the first one, but, I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for the help... Probably my favorite clan with which to play - just don't expect to win any tournaments with them. > Question 1: Horrid Reality. Does this refer to weapons only as > equipment? Great card. I believe you pull a weapon out. I'm not sure about cardtext, but I think it is pretty clear that it is discussing weapon use. Great when used in combo w/ submachine guns/assualt rifles and Dragon's Breath Rounds. > > Question 2: Illusions of the Kindred. I'm a bit puzzled about what the > card text refers to. Throw in a trap and go to town! This is my favorite combat ends card!! It also trumps Psyche, Fast Reaction/Hidden Lurker, and is a great response to a fight deck. > Question 3: Mass Reality. As for playing Chimestry (free advice that you can ignore). You will find that nearly half your actions will be used to stem the massive bloodcost of playing Chimestry, especially if you want to try Sensory Dep. which generally costs 4blood to attempt (Sense Dep + Fata Morgana). Blood dolls, Hunting Grounds, the Rack, Restorations are all necessary cards w/ the Ravnos. The blood dolls will give you pool when you need it, and can be used to give blood to vamps when they need that extra little push. Also, weenie Chimestry vamps suck. Weenies are almost always good, but with Chimestry they generally don't have the blood to actually do anything - and a lot of Chimestry is only good at superior.

Horrid Reality [DS] - Combat (ch) (2) * Only pulls weapons out of the library, not simply equipment. [RTR 960112] > Question 2: Illusions of the Kindred. Is this right? Well, it is "removed from the game" at the end of combat, but the rest of it is right. > If so, where > is the pulled vamp filled from...the blood bank, or, does the > methuselah pay from pool? Blood Bank. > Question 3: Mass Reality. Damage added to an aggravated source of damage is aggravated. > Would a "superior" version of Mass Reality combined with...say...a > Flamethrower do 2 points of normal damage + 2 points of agg, or, 4 > points of agg?
