1. Nedal, the Careless cannot replace combat cards played until my next untap phase. So, this overrules the disciplineless cards like Lucky Blow and Fake Out, which aren't replaced until after combat? 2. I may use four transfers and burn 1 pool to give Aimee Laroux an additional level of Melpominee. Is this a permanent effect; she has mel for the rest of the game? If so, through this method, I can get her to MEL? 3. I can't use Pack Alpha to recruit a Laibon-only animal retainer like the Elephant Guardian if my vampire isn't Laibon, can I? Nedal's do not replace clause over-rides the do not replace clause on Lucky Blow and Fake Out. See the parallel with Visit from the Capuchin and Gehenna Events. You cannot get around requirements with Pack Alpha, the vampire employing the retainer must meet all of the requirements. Carpe noctem. Visit really does replace the clause, however. >>2. I may use four transfers and burn 1 pool to give Aimee Laroux an >>additional level of Melpominee. Correct. -- That is my story, be it bitter or be it sweet. Keep a little and let a little come back to me.
