I'm currently reading tome 3 of the Clan Lasombra Trilogy (and am very disappointed in what's happening to one of my favourite characters, but that's another subject). In this cycle, we see lots of weird ways to use Obtenebration, invoke the Abyss, make rituals etc. I was wondering if there is a rulebook stating how to do this. -- Yours from the Grave, Orpheus http://necrobones.free.fr http://no.exit.free.fr http://cypheranima.free.fr news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone

Authors of novels tend to take *a lot* of liberty with the RPG material in their writing. That's why most novels are quasi-canon, at best. Halcyan 2

I hate to break this to you, but it's not real. It's all fiction. ;) - Ben Peal, Prince of Boston fu...@mindstorm.com

It's all fiction. Yeah, it's all fiction, 'cept for the part about vampires and all. Halcyan 2

I know that the Mexico by Night book talk about Obtenebration style rituals that the Lasombra have made, I beleive they call it Abyssal Mystisicm or something like that. I can double check when I get home. I hope that helps, I haven't read the novels yet so I'm not sure if we are talking about the same things. Vincent Price [ quoted text not captured ]
