Clan Alignment of Allies

I'd like to know what clan alignment are allies. heres a scenerio. I play Consanguineous boon (or comdemnation) which mentions `member of that clan he or she controls.' I choose to TAP all Malkavian (sp?) I think it was a Consag. condemnation card. Is the Muddled Vampire Hunter Malkavian? Since He has the Malkavian symbol on the side of his card. Does he get tapped? Similarily, You could not tap (or get pool for having) any Caitiff, as "Caitiff" is a state of clanlessness, not a clan.

Hunter means that he is the sort of ally that would be recruited for you by one of your Malkavian minions, so therefore you must have a Malk. on the table in your controled region who is able to recruit him.
