What happens when if I use this on a crypt card and it turns out to be an Imbued? I assume the actions fails and I dont pay (but still tap)? Memory`s Fading Glimpse, Action, 3 blood, Obfuscate, U5 , [AH:U5, BH:PM] [obf] (D) Move a vampire from your prey`s uncontrolled region to the bottom of his or her crypt. Move all of the blood on that vampire to your prey`s blood pool. [OBF] As above, but move one blood from the uncontrolled vampire to the acting vampire.

[ quoted text not captured ] Since it says "move a vampire" which means it was written when crypt cards were of one type only it should probably be re-written to include all crypt cards i.e. "Move a crypt card from your prey's....." At least that's what I would suggest. Again I cannot access any errata page from where I am but this might already have been thought of and could already have a cardtext change. Archie

That's _almost_ fixed.. it's already been pointed out to LSJ that this wording allows you to MFG (or use Gisela's special to burn) other, non-minion cards in the uncontrolled region such as Gather or Tomb of Ramses - and 'crypt card' doesn't work as a fix, because of things like Banished Waters of Duat/Embrace/etc. "Minion" or "minion card" were suggested to LSJ as fixes in the end of the discussion, so this'll probably get adjusted on all the cards that had the Legacies-timed 'vampire' -> 'card' fix in the near future. -John Flournoy

I thought 'minion card' meant non-master, non-event card. ie: any card played by a minion. (and possibly now also includes non-conviction...?) So obviously you want something here that means 'card that is a minion'. Unfortunately i don't think 'minion card' is the right term for that. where was the discussion you refer to? WW forum? Path of Blood? -- salem http://users.tpg.com.au/adsltqna/vtes/ (replace 'hotmail' with 'yahoo' to email)

WW forum? Path of Blood? And thus the problem with attempting to have one conversation in two places. The actual resolution was "uncontrolled minion in your prey's uncontrolled region" (in Gisela's case, similar for other cases). This will be reflected in the next card list -- and note that the actual function of the card is not changed (the current use of "card" being just a clarification and not representing a functional change). Thus: nothing to report. Sorry for the confusion. For those of you still confused by this issue, just ignore the diversion given in this thread and play the cards the way the NoR preview page says to.
