Yes, you can always play a reaction modifier (like Deflection) in response
to an action modifier (like Conditioning).

You are referring to the superior version of Drawing Out the Beast, correct?
It cannot be prevented as that is what the card states. If a card states
that its damage is unpreventable, then under no circumstances can it
be prevented.
A pseudo-exception is that unpreventable aggravated damage
can be _converted_ to regular damage with cards like Skin of Night, Merrill
Molitor, and Heart of Darkness. Other requirements for using these must
still be met, however. For example, Skin of Night is only a combat card
so it can only be used during combat and not after something like Force of
Will.

Yes, as Skin of Rock says to prevent 1 (2 at superior) damage. Carrion
Crows does not state that its damage is unpreventable. Skin of Steel will
not prevent the damage from Carrion Crows because the damage from Carrion
Crows is not a strike.

Wolf Claws and the other Claws type cards say that your _hand_ damage is
aggravated. This only includes strikes with your hands. Wolf Claws will
have no effect on Carrion Crows or DOtB.
