Hello all. Got this situation recently, when I tried to put Swarm on another minion and got blocked. So the Swarm is now on my minion. Since a Swarm either 1) burns a life when it has more than two or 2) steals a blood/life from the minion it is on, what happens when that minion has no blood/life? Of course, it can't steal a blood, but does it burns a life instead (burning itself in the process)? I guess the answer is "no" but I want to check. A corrolary question: any way a Swarm will burn itself out? If not, I guess the only way to get rid of it is to inflict damage on it or steal its last life (through Cryptic Mission and the like) Thanks. ***************************** Swarm [LoB:C] Cardtype: Retainer Cost: 1 blood Animal with 1 life. Requires a ready Laibon. Put the Swarm on any ready minion (employing the Swarm is a +1 stealth (D) action if that minion is controlled by another Methuselah). If this action is blocked, put the Swarm on the acting minion instead (no cost is paid). During this minion's untap phase, if the Swarm has more than 1 life, it burns a life; otherwise, it steals 1 blood or life from this minion. A minion may have only one Swarm.

This works exactly like stealing one blood via Theft of Vitae works against an empty vampire -- no effect. > A corrolary question: any way a Swarm will burn itself out? You could also pass it to another vampire with Heidelberg, for example.
