I'm not sure about the timing of these cards If a minion is blocked and plays Faceless Night (sup) and the blocking minion increases his/her intercept, can I then play Elder Impersonation (sup). If that is the case then is the blocking minion tapped or untapped. thanks in advance John

[ quoted text not captured ] If by "is blocked" you mean "is acting and another minion attempts to block", then: Yes. Tapped. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to revised rulebook, rulings, errata, and tournament rules: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

Faceless Night [obf] +1 stealth. [OBF] +1 stealth, and any vampire that attempts to block this action [is tapped when the block succeeds or when that vampire's controller decides not to block]. Ruling on Faceless Night: Faceless Night taps the (successful) blocker when the block is successful, as normal. (If the blocking minion wouldn't normally tap when he blocks, Faceless Night will still tap him.) If the acting minion uses a Change of Target, then the tapping effect of Faceless Night is undone by the Change of Target. Elder Impersonation [obf] +1 stealth. [OBF] Only usable when another minion attempts to block the acting minion. That minion's blocking attempt fails; untap that minion. That minion cannot attempt to block this action again. Errata for Elder Impersonation: The failed blocker is not untapped, but rather "not tapped" - if the blocker was tapped originally, he will remain tapped (errata) e.g. You attempt a bleed and an untapped minion attempts to block. You play Faceless Night(S) Blocking minion plays +1 intercept You play Elder Intervention(S), the block attempt fails. You prey decines to make any further block attempts. Faceless Night's card text kicks in, all minions that attempted to block tap.

The problem I had was with the text on Elder Impersonation "Only usable when another minion attempts to block the acting minion". I wasn't sure if it could be played after a minion 'first' declares its block. Obviously my grammar needs a little work. Cheers John
