[LSJ] Bomb burned after use

Official card text of the Bomb: Cardtype: Equipment Cost: 1 pool Weapon. 5R damage as a strike. If the {bomb is used in combat, the bearer} takes 5 damage as well. The minion with this weapon may burn a location as a (D) action. Burn the Bomb after use. That card text is, by the way, different from card text in ELDB. Do the Bomb burn if the action to burn a location provided by Bomb's card text is blocked? I searched through google without getting any clear answer about that. I'd say the burning the Bomb is the cost of the action. As with all actions, the cost doesn't need to be payed if the action is blocked. That's how I've been playing Bomb all along. I might be wrong, of course.
