Was wondering if there is an answer for this problem we encountered.
Acting minion goes into combat and plays one of them plays Illusions of
the Kindred (take a crypt vamp and goes into combat). During course of
combat, the Illusive Kindred plays Form of Mist at superior form. Is the
action continued, and who is the acting minion, the illusive Kindred or
the Kindred who started the action? My suggestion was that the Illusive
Kindred is burnt and the old acting minion continues the action. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can play Action modifiers during
combat (unless it is Ritual of hte Bitter Rose or some such). Thus you
can't FoM your IoK during combat, an since the Illusion disappears after
combat, the question is rendered somwhat moot.

Since when has form of mist been an action modifier?
surely it is a combat card that gives a "dodge" at superior and a "strike
combat ends, this vampire may continue its action at +1 stealth" at
inferior. or has this card been errata'd into obscurity by players who can't
cope with this "Overpowered" card?

Hmm, whenever can you play a SCE or a Strike:dodge if not in a
combat??? Form of mist is a Combat card when played at either level, be
it superior or minor. Never an action modifier. So the afformentioned
IoK vampire could in fact form of mist at the superior level. (provided
of course the IoK vampire did in fact possess Protean at the superior
level.) The problem being that the IoK will dissapear from the game
after the combat ends, and will never be able to use the benefits of the
FoM.
No rules precedent here but IMO the action would end here.
Having played FoM the combat ends and the IoK is removed from the game,
this ends the initial action as there is no vampire to continue said
action. Rulemongers feel free to jump in.
Cheers, Karl

Form of Mist (superior) only continues the action if it is played by
the acting vampire.
The Illusionary vampire is not the acting vampire, so the action does
not continue.
