I don't see anything in the rules that prevents this. You play out-of-turn
masters whenever appropriate (p. 14). The only restriction is that you
forfeit your next master phase when you do this. Playing one out-of-turn
master uses up your next master phase (still p. 14). You *may* play these
cards during someone else's turn (p. 26), but I don't see anything that
prohibits you from playing one during your own master or minion phase.
Of course, meth C could sudden reversal your sudden reversal and then you
are in trouble because you can't play any more out-of-turn cards.

Sudden Reversal may itself be reversed, yes, but since you can't use
out-of-turn cards during your own turn, the trick you mention doesn't work.
