Well the final round must have been over for an hour now. I'm waiting patiently for some word, any word, on how the event played out. You would think that with a delay this long we moved back into the dark ages! Raille

[ quoted text not captured ] I realized my error and am currently Doing a Bush impression. My advisors told me the NAC results happened, but infact they restated the claim. In Fact they did say that the Qualifier was being held and that the results have yet to be posted, despite the guarentee that this event was known to have been finished. We have proof. Excuse #2 The original Post was made by someone pretending to be me. No responsibilty is claimed by me in regards to this obviously erroneous post, intended to cast doubts on my already taxed abilities. Excuse #3 There was this time machine and the little green men failed to warn me of potential embarassing events such as this. However Now that I have Sundays winning Lotto numbers, who cares.!! ;) Raille

Not very patiently, evidently. >You would think that with a delay this long we moved back into the >dark ages! Indeed. There were 80 qualified players in attendance and playing on Saturday. There were 13 more players that played in the Shadow Twin event. Brian Moritz of Seattle, Washington took the win with a Tremere intercept/bleed deck with 1.5 vps in the final. Jay Kristoff also had 1.5 vps with an al AUS all the time deck, but Brian had the higher ranking going into the finals. Ben Spaulding had .5 vps for third place with a Brujah Princes Remembering Carthage deck.. Forrest Nielson took fourth place with the Toreador Antitribu / Daughters of Cacophony (Siren's Lure) bleed deck that won the Washington, D. C. qualifier. Jean-Francois Caron took fifth place with a new Gangrel bleed/toolbox deck. Congratulations to all involved. Carpe noctem. Lasombra http://www.TheLasombra.com

Yes, and thanks for the quick reporting, Lasombra. I'll be posting deck lists for all five finalists later this week, and some pictures soon after. Thanks to everyone who participated for games well played and for patience through our relocations and scattered tables. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Is there any place where we can ge the decklists from the top 5 deck of GC NAC, I'm specially interested in the !tor/daughters just 'cause I liked to see the diferences with the one I made and won me the Iberian open 2002. Thanks, Greetings, Iñaki, Prince of Barcelona.-

The deck has 6 Daughters (2x Angela Preston, 2x Gael Pilet, Deliliah Monroe, and Celeste), 5 !Toreador (2x Jost Warner, 2x Shelia Mezarin, 1x Mercy), and 1 Caitiff (Maldavis). For the DC qualifier, it was an even split of Daughters and !Toreador, because Anarch were not yet legal. On the other hand, this deck (with minor changes) also went to the finals in the Baltimore Storyline held in Baltimore as a Daughters of Cacophony (9+3) deck in January 2002.

Scott, Any chance you'll post the results of all 80 participants (i.e. Archon Summary)? I'd like to know where I fit in (i.e. place finish) and who attended. Also, I think people would be interested to know what the cut-off point was for the finals. (Hint: 2 GW did not guarantee a spot at the final table!) > Thanks to everyone who participated for games well played and for > patience through our relocations and scattered tables. Indeed. Relocations. Zoning Boards. Dramatic Upheavals. Kindred Restructure? I say move the NAC to GenCon Southern California for 2004!!! (Or maybe Dragon*Con?) Keith M. Thompson Prince of Las Vegas
