Page 38 of the VTES Players Guide states under Black Sunrise : "The superior version allows you to attempt to block any action. Combining the best parts of Forced Awakening and Eagles Sight in a single card, ..." This 'implication' appears to specifically contradict any previous discussions on the topic. Card Text : *************************************** Black Sunrise [KMW:C] Cardtype: Reaction Discipline: Quietus Only usable by a tapped vampire. [qui] Only usable during a (D) action directed at you or something you control. This vampire untaps and attempts to block. [QUI] As above, but usable on any action. *************************************** Is this an error in the book or has there been a ruling change? Specifically, does Black Sunrise at Superior give an Eagle Sight ability to block a cross table action? Cheers......... Frogbear * Beside myself with grief *

Error. The Player's Guide includes no new errata. If it had, it would have been clearly marked as such. You may assume that "all previous discussion" remains valid (at least, as valid as it was before the PG). > Specifically, does Black Sunrise at Superior give an Eagle Sight ability > to block a cross table action? No. -- That is my story, be it bitter or be it sweet. Keep a little and let a little come back to me. Just so you know, I noticed another error in the PG. I do not have the book with me here at work, but IIRC, it states that a vampire with Repulsion may play additional Repulsions. This is clearly contradicted by the card itself, however, so probably not a big deal. Cheers, WES

Correct! :) There's a link on the Player's Guide homepage that lists errata to the Player's Guide. This one is already on the list. http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/index.php?line=PlayersGuide -Robert

[ quoted text not captured ] Thanks for the info Wes. I only have a proof here at work but that error is present. I'll be adding that error to the book's errata page. -Robert

Ok then, a couple more (that I haven't seen posted yet): On P242, Rigor Mortis shows discipline Temporis instead of Thanatosis. On P18, it states that: "Thoughts betrayed played at superior prohibits the opposing vampire from playing strike cards during the first round of combat,[...]", but we all know that the effect lasts until the end of combat. Under the description of Key Tremere cards, it says that the Ankara Citadel reduces the cost of cards by 1 blood, which is of course wrong, as the card print at the back shows. Sam

[ quoted text not captured ] Wow. That's lame enough to probably be my fault. :) Thanks. Hopefully there won't be many more of these. -Robert
