From Blackhorse Tanner: ... Once each turn, when you draw a card from your library, you may place that card on the bottom of your library and draw a new card. From Fragment of the Book of Nod: ...Tap to draw two cards from your library. Discard down to your maximum hand size.... I control Blackhorse Tanner. I tap the Fragment of the Book of Nod. I don't like the first card I draw, so I use Tanner's power to put it on the bottom of my deck and draw a new card, per his special text. Do I draw another card to satisfy the Fragment's text, or have I already drawn two cards? Say I like the first card, but not the second. I use Blackhorse's power to place it on the bottom of the deck. Do I draw another card, per Blackhorse's text, or is it just reminder text that doesn't apply in this situation?

There is no reason for Blackhorse's special to "interfere " with book of nods.

[ quoted text not captured ] Correct. If you need to, tap the Fragment and draw one card, look at it, decide whether to invoke Blackhorse's ability, then draw the second card. It practice, however, you would draw both, then decide to use Blackhorse's ability on either one of the ones drawn. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
