It is often difficult, however, to *know* that nobody has as PA cards. Curt Adams (curt...@aol.com)

Hello, My play environment is a new one with all new players with about equal experience. As the only one on-line in my group, I have been following this newsgroup and the web sites. I am aware of the environment questions like Golden Tennents, Card Limits, No Repeat Actions, etc. but none of these problems have really come up in our games, yet. I am playing some classic degenerate decks so that these questions do come up. After seeing the consequences of not playing with a limited environment we will make our decision on what limits we want. This is a question that came up when I was playing my first effective WVP deck vs a Gangrel Combat (pred) and Malk Block and Bleed Deck (prey). The GC deck had recently torporized a vampire of my prey. I moved to diablerize the vampire and was sucessful. There were no titled vampires on the table, and noone had a PA but me. When the bloodhunt was called noone but me had any ability to vote, I chose not to play any PA cards because a tied vote is a failed vote. Does this mean that if there is no titled vampires on the table and no PA in anyones hand diablerie may be committed freely? Barring the sixth tradition coming up of course... And about 6th tradition; it's a prince/justicar action. If no one has titled vamps, it won't apply(unless someone pulls a praxis/freak drive/6th tradition. Hah). Alec Chang

Include the Edge in your analysis and any other card-in-play that can be used for votes outside of a political action (like Ventrue HQ), and the answer is "yes". -- L. Barring the sixth > tradition coming up of course... if a tree falls in the forest... think of it this way...you have noone with any influence over vampire society to cary out a bloodhunt (no titled vamps) and you yourself don't even have enough influence over the locals to get that sucker burned (no political action cards). The one thing you didn';t consider was the edge. If the player with the edge was particularly upset about the eating-each-other-nastyness (s)he could sac the edge for that bloodhunt vote. -dark
