So... I bleed with Lalitha and am blocked by Salbatore Bokkengro. I play Venenation, then Mask over to Samat Ramal-Ra. Samat plays another Venenation, bringing the total Corruption counters on Salbatore to 4, which is his current capacity. I now want to do 2 things. I really want to burn the Corruption counters to take control of Salbatore, and I also want to play Change of Target so that neither vampire ends up tapped... 1 - Is there any way that I can do both (I'm guessing no)? 2 - If I do not (cannot) play Change of Target, is Salbatore tapped for having blocked my action? 3 - If I do not burn the Corruption counters, can I play Change of Target? If you had asked me #2 and #3 separately, I would have said yes to each. However, when the situation came up in play, and now that I put both questions together, it seems to me that they cannot both be yes, since Salbatore has to be untapped after I play CoT (assuming I don't burn corruption counters), even though CoT doesn't untap him.

CoT (and Obedience) overcomes the "tap for blocking" rule, by explicit card text. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
