Ambrosius Question (LSJ)

I have a question about Ambrosius the Ferryman. What happens if the retainer he causes to be brought back from the ash heap were to be killed again somehow? Shouldn't it just go back to the ash heap as per usual instead of being "removed from the game." Yes, nefarious plans are hatching. --Neil
