Can/does Bang-Nakh (or Bastard Sword) augment an Undead Strength *hand* strike? Sorrow

An Undead Strength strike can be used to augment hand or *melee weapon* strike. So, you can use superior Undead Strength to hit with your Bang Nakh for (hand + 4) damage. -- L. Yes, I know. Perhaps I should have added the reason I was asking: If a minion has Bang-Nakh and they play Undead Strength as a hand strike so they can then throw on Wolf's Claws, would the Tiger's Claws augment that damage? The card text says '+2 hand damage', but was erratted to be a meelee weapon. But to me there is a grey area where I don't strike with the Bang-Nakh, but with something else and I would like to know if in that case does it give the +2? Sorrow -- I don't want to be alone | I hurt, therefore I am anymore |-------------------------------- I don't want to be anyone | "What are you looking at...? anymore | you never seen anyone try to I don't need a reason to kill myself | commit suicide before?" - Anon ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the base ruling presented earlier, then. As printed, yes (B-N acts like a Signpost). But, with the official errata making B-N a "Strike: Hand +2"-dealing melee weapon, you cannot treat the B-N as a hand strike, nor may the B-N be used to modify a hand strike. So, no Wolf Claws on the Tiger Claws. [ quoted text not captured ]
