Wamukota, Ravnos, 9 cap, group 4 aus ANI CHI FOR PRE Laibon: If one of your other laibon is blocked while attempting to equip, employ, or recruit, you may tap Wamukota to cancel the combat (if any) and have that Laibon continue the action as if unblocked. +1 bleed.

[ quoted text not captured ] The disciplines! Sweetness!

[ quoted text not captured ] So, could a waked or forced minion block again atter the combat cancellation? I presume so?

Ravnos are getting more and more PRE in their ranks, that worries me a bit, because they can do nasty things already. Adding PRE gives 'em so much boost in voting/bleeding. (could've given them OBF and they'd vote with Animal Magnetism) -Still, this vamp is great, neat pic and funky special, me likey!

The special is a bit corner case, but the disciplines and additional bleed are very nice. For KOTEK fans out there, anyone else noticed that many of the Laibon pictured so far look like re-drawn versions of the 2-page archetypes presented in the Ebony Kingdom book? Disco.

[ quoted text not captured ] Another good vampire in line with the new G4 Ravnos. An useful ability but somehow a bit hard to use with a 9-cap vampire. Anyway useful. Nothing really new and so not much more to say.... for now! .- Luis Duarte

Interestingly, it doesn't mention WHEN combat can be canceled. So perhaps it can be canceled at any point along the combat? That could be interesting, say my guy X with a .44 wants to get something, is blocked. Say X unloads a ton of damage (but not enough to end combat), or the opposing minion plays s:ce - could you tap W to cancel and continue at those points (before press in case of heavy damage, before strike resolution in case of majesty?). [ quoted text not captured ] My assumption would be that you have to do it when the triggering event ("a Laibon is blocked...") occurs. John

tap to to cancel combat, not to end combat. byez!

It's more like they are the very same characters, eheh At least those on the covers of the Starter Decks, including the scarred Osebo... Maybe they should be the "signature" characters, even though they were never described.. Have Fun Fabio Ciccone

You shut your mouth! :-) Adding PRE to a vampire is never a bad thing ;-) -------------------------------------------- Ethan Burrow - the pre/vic guy http://monger.vekn.org http://presence.vekn.org http://wiki.vekn.org

They still lack bounce and inherent vote push (i.e. titles and vote locations). The best voting thing they have besides PRE is still Bujo, which indicates how these worries are totally unfounded. If it was Giovanni getting more PRE, even then they would not turn into the new Ventrue, so... best, Fabio "Sooner" Macedo

They can cheese w/o presence too, why add chilli on chilli (=because you like chilli?) naah, I would've wanted to see a discipline which doesn't instantly create an image of cheddar, but something that you can use in other ways too... err, QUI? BTW, AUS is nice addition for the Ravnos -just for the record, I don't know squat about Ravnos in WoD, just that they're Gypsies and have those discs.. so I can't propose any discipline that would match with WoD.

FYI, there are a bunch of different Ravnos lines in WoD but almost every single one has the standard Animalism, Chimerstry and Fortitude as core disciplines. The only exception are the Indian Brahman lineage, who have Auspex instead of Fortitude. Those Brahmin who came to Europe with Gypsies became called Phuri Dae, from memory. cheers, Disco Stu WoD Geek

My copy of Clanbook: Ravnos ((c) 1997... I can't remember if there was a revised one) has the Phuri Dae marked down as commonly taking Auspex and being knowledgeable about the Jyhad and their inevitable role within it, but doesn't actually gift them Auspex as a discipline. The example Phuri Dae (The Seer) in the book is given Animalism, Fortitude and Chimerstry as the standard three disciplines (printed on the sheet), and then given Auspex as a "hand-written" discipline. Notably, however, The Seer doesn't take any points in Fortitude. Of course, this may have been revised in later supplements. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D YOU ARE IN ERROR.
