Playing a classic Derange + Malkavian Dementia deck, i steal 1 of my prey's deranged vampires and i put a Baltimore Purge on him/her. Malkavian Dementia states that i maintain control of the demented vampire until my next untap phase. Baltimore purge trigers during the next untap of the minion's controler. So, when my next untap phase comes, can i order the sequence of the effects that take place ? Thus, "order" the purge to triger before i loose control of the demented vampire ? If yes, then this is wonderful news as it is possible to have my prey torporize 2 vampires of his. I can even choose the vampires that go to torpor (given i control a low-cap lasombra) and do all this with a "borrowed" vampire. So, i hope such thing is possible.

Once you begin your untap phase, you no longer control the demented Malkavian. Losing control of the Malkavian is not an event that occurs in (during) your untap phase. It would seem wiser to hope that such a broken thing is not possible, unless you were the only player with the resources to compose such a deck (and even then, if you wanted to ensure the game's longetivity). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. I was not eager to construct such a deck, i just like finding broken combos. So as you, the rulemaker, can fix them. Or just embarass you a little by finding a broken combo. I don't think this is bad for the game...
