Does putting Derange on a vampire with Go Anarch burn the Go Anarch?

[ quoted text not captured ] What if a derange is put on an anarch convert and then the convert removes the derange. Wich sect will xe default to? Cardtext or caitiffs default sect (camarilla)? Isak Bjärmark Esbjörnsson

[ quoted text not captured ] Maybe I was abit unclear. What I ment were. If a anarch convert (which is "independet, anarch" by card text) gets derange and change clan say Malkavian antitribu, then the convert becomes Sabbat, yes? If then the convert as an action (by derange card text) succefully moves the derange to another vampire, do the convert become: a) camrilla (caitiffs default sect) or b) Independent, anarch (by the converts card text) Anarch Convert, 1, Caitiff, 0 Independent. Anarch: When the convert enters play, you may remove him from the game to make a non-titled vampire you control anarch and either gain 1 pool or draw a card from your crypt. Derange, Action, Malkavian/Malkavian Antitribu This is a +1 stealth action. (D) Put this card on a younger vampire. The vampire with this card is considered to be the same clan as the acting vampire. The vampire with this card does not untap as normal. During his or her controller`s untap phase, he or she may burn 1 blood to untap. The vampire with this card may move it to another vampire as a (D) action. This card cannot be placed on a Malkavian or Malkavian antitribu. Isak Bjärmark Esbjörnsson

(*) Although Caitiff is not a clan, it's considered to be a Camarilla bunch of vampires. Now, here's a funny question: Suppose Anarch Convert gets Deranged (let's say to Malkavian). He becomes Camarilla. Suppose then that he changes sect back to independent, thanks to Fall of the Camarilla. Is the Anarch Convert an Anarch again ?

What I ment were. You weren't unclear. The rule LSJ quoted applies, no matter what sect is written on the vampire for the sect that he enters play as. The same holds true if (for example) Joe "Boot" Hill gets Deranged to Malk (becoming Cam) and then removes it - he is now an Independent Assamite because that is the default for his clan, even though "Sabbat" is printed in his card text. > Isak Bjärmark Esbjörnsson -John Flournoy

Not unless some other effect is introduced to make him anarch again. [10.5]
