googling "liquidation author:lsj" didn't bring anything, so here goes : Name: Liquidation [Tenth:A/B] Cardtype: Master Master. Do not replace until your discard phase. Burn seven cards from the top of your library to gain 3 pool. Artist: James Stowe You have 6 cards left in your library. You play Liquidation. What happens ? 1/ do you burn what's left of the library and no pool is gained ? 2/ or : you don't burn anything, since you're supposed to burn a "package" of 7 cards (no more, no less) "to" gain the pool ? (the "to" thingy implying it's a kind of cost?) 3/ you can't play Liquidation at all, since you can't do the "do X to do Y" ? thanks Stone

[ quoted text not captured ] IANLSJ, but you play it and attempt to burn 7 cards, so you burn 6 cards and since you failed to burn 7 cards then you fail to gain 3 pool.

[ quoted text not captured ] > pool.- Tekst uit oorspronkelijk bericht niet weergeven - > > IANLSJE(ither), but I'd say you can't play it, because you can't pay the <cost>to<effect>. Just like you can't play a card that says "tap 2 minions to..." if you don't control 2 untapped minions. BIANS (but I am not sure)
