Muddles, Blood Siege and Reprint of SW Questions

A few questions have come up recently. Muddled Vampire Hunter - The text states that it does 4 Damage. I am assuming that this damage is NOT considered hand damage. So if a Muddled Vampire Hunter were to get into a combat and have Immortal Grapple played on it by the opposing minion, it would strike for 0 damage as the 4 Damage is not hand damage. Is this correct? Blood Siege - While the card text states that no modifiers can be used during the vote, what about prior to the vote? In short, can the vote be made an automatic success through the use of Malkavian Cryptic Rider, Cryptic Rider or Charming Lobby? From what I can gather, the answer is "yes", however, it seems a bit heavy handed to have that type of capability exist for one sect but not the other. What is the answer on this? If there is a second print of SW (and I certainly hope it occurs), will many of the cards (both minion and library) within the Demo decks be included in the Booster sets? (Like the Prince of New York or Blood Dolls...) Just curious. Michael Eichler Prince of Ramstein -- Worry comes from the belief you are powerless. (So get in there and kick some butt!) So if a His innate, non-ranged, damage-dealing strike is a hand strike, by definition. Is this correct? No. He would strike: hands for 4. > Blood Siege - While the card text states that no modifiers can be used > during the vote, what about prior to the vote? Malkavian Rider Clause is not an action modifier, so is not affected. Cryptic Rider cannot be played on the Blood Siege, but one played previously will cause the referendum to pass automatically. Charming Lobby is not a modifier, so is not affected. > If there is a second print of SW (and I certainly hope it occurs), will > many of the cards (both minion and library) within the Demo decks be > included in the Booster sets? It would be a new set, with many reprints from SW. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Aggravated damage? and if Muddles has a Stake, his strike would automatically torporize the opposing vampire with 1st Strike unless it could Dodge /S:CE /Prevent the damage. Was just wondering as the card had restrictions that were similar to the Diablerie/BloodHunt vote. > > If there is a second print of SW (and I certainly hope it occurs), will > > many of the cards (both minion and library) within the Demo decks be > > included in the Booster sets? Unless, of course, the question was still meant to pertain to a round in which Immortal Grapple had been played. In which case, Muddles couldn't strike with the dagger, and would strike hands for 4. > > if Muddles has a Stake, his strike would automatically torporize the > > opposing vampire with 1st Strike unless it could Dodge /S:CE /Prevent > > the damage. Correct? Same as above...if an IG was played, he couldn't use the stake. Xian
