Suppose Sir Walter Nash plays a political action, such as Kine Resources Contested. He also plays superior Bewitching Oration to gain 4 votes. The Methuselah controlling Walter has 7 votes: 1 from the vote card 2 from Walter's title of prince 4 from Bewitching Oration. The question is: how many of these votes can be cancelled by Pulling Strings or Demonstration?

I would say the 1 from the vote card comes from the Methuselah, but you can clearly cancel Walter's prince votes (2), and the 4 from the BO, as it says "...acting vampire gains 4 votes...". LSJ, I hope I got this right, please correct me if I'm wrong. Pulling Strings and Demonstration would cancel all the votes Sir Walter obtained. You would end up with 1 for the political action card that was played. [ quoted text not captured ]

All the ones from Sir Walter: the 2 from his title and the 4 from his B.O. (The one from the PA card is simply the Methuselah's vote - it doesn't come from the acting vampire.) -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
