What would happen to a vampire with a zero capacity? There's probably been a ruling already, but it does seem a bit paradoxical - a vampire has no blood so must hunt, but hunting gains it no blood. Is the vampire permanently in torpor, or is it burned? Can it still take actions? Can it block or react? What if it was a Tremere with the Ankara Citadel, Turkey? Could it use Deflections still? Well, you get the idea. Is there an official ruling out there please? -- Justin Grace

Your other minions may act, and the "stuck" minion is free to block or react as normal. The new rules prohibit a vampire "at capacity" from taking the hunting action, so he cannot hunt at all. >There's probably been a ruling already, but it does seem a bit >paradoxical - a vampire has no blood so must hunt, but hunting gains it >no blood. There are two rules in effect here: 1) a vampire MUST hunt if he has zero blood and 2) a vampire cannot hunt if he is on full capacity (in this case zero). The vampire must hunt before doing anything else, but he cannot. So he stands there and does nothing during your turn, but he can still block during other player's turns. This is the ruling on vampires who must hunt, but cannot (eg he already tried and failed). -- ________________ "I wish I was a fearsome ______ ___@^^^^\ / \ engine of destruction!" / \ @ \_____/ David Schwartz \__________________________/ > (^^^^^\ _______ ___/ \---\ / \ da...@schwartz.manawatu.gen.nz / \_____________/ \__________________________________/
