Guard Duty Question [LSJ]

Just needed confirmation on this: A minion goes on Guard Duty to protect say the Louvre and another Methuselah steals the location. I bring out another copy of the Louvre, and the other Methuselah yields. Is the Guard duty still good? Pete Oh
